Jimmy The Rich writes that MK’s Pride from the in-form Paul Peter stable takes his place in Race 6. He ran a cracker when finishing third in the Gr1 Mercury Sprint last time.

The manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging.

He has won his only attempt over this course and distance. He is the best weighted runner in this contest and should be too good for this field.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Stuart Pettigrew saddles Sea Ways in Race 5. He is a winner of his last three starts over this course and distance.

He returns from a well-deserved 10-week break this afternoon.

The son of Ashaawes gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming apprentice Philasande Mxoli and if not in need of the run, he should notch up his fourth victory in a row.

Craig Zackey will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.

The false rail is at 4,5m on the back straight and bend with a 4,5m spur at the 500m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 13h10
