Luke No Further Than Ferraris Today!

The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 14h05

Turffontein Racecourse hosts nine races this afternoon.

Luke Ferraris has five rides and may be the jockey to follow as he has a couple of good chances of winning.

The first race is due off at 12h20.

Bureau Des Legende from the Mike de Kock stable takes her place in Race 4 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She showed very good improvement when finishing second in her last start over this course and distance. She challenged strongly all the way to the line, but found one too good in the form of Dance Lesson.

The daughter of Legislate is having her second run after a rest today and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw, she should be the one to beat.

Trainer Weiho Marwing sends out Kingsley’s Heart in Race 6. He showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course.

He has won twice and finished second twice from five starts over this course and distance.

The gelding seems to have done the trick with the son of Ideal World and he can return to winning ways.

Chase Maujean will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.

The false rail is set at 5,5m on the back straight to 9m on the bend with a 9m spur at the 700m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 13h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 14h05
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h40
  • The second Jackpot starts in the sixth race at 15h15

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
