Jimmy The Rich writes that the powerful stable of Mike de Kock sends out I Dream Of Genie in Race 3. She produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1000m at the Vaal.

She understandably raced green that day, but finished her race off well.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Ululate from the St John Gray stable is currently trading at around 10/1 with Hollywoodbets. She took on much stronger in the Non-Black Type Egoli Mile last time.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She has won once and finished third twice from four starts over this distance.

She should be cherry-ripe today and back against her own sex, she can return to winning ways.

The false rail is 6m on the back straight to 9m on the bend with a 9m spur at the 700m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 13h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 14h05
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h40
  • The second Jackpot starts in the sixth race at 15h15
