Saturday- Kenilworth Preview

The Pick 6 starts in the third at 15h05

An eight-race programme is scheduled for Kenilworth this afternoon.

With 88 winners this season at a strike-rate of 15.7%, trainer Justin Snaith could be the man to follow. He saddles a good few horses with a decent chance of winning today.

The first race is due off at 13h55.

Jimmy The Rich writes Capitana from the Brett Crawford stable is the best bet on the card. She was not disgraced when finishing second behind Clouds Unfold last time.

She moved up well that day, but was caught in the latter stages. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Captain Al is loaded with ability and should take a power of beating.

Shangaan could close the meeting off on a positive note for the Justin Snaith camp. He won a good race when shedding his maiden tag over 1200m on this course.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests he will enjoy the extra distance on offer.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight takes on stronger, but he is lightly raced and looks to have scope.

The summer course false rail is 2m out from the 1800m with a 6m spur at the 600m mark. The start on the summer course is forward of zero by 5m.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 14h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 15h05
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 15h40
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 16h15

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
