Double Feature Day At Kenilworth

The Bipot starts in the first at 13h15

An exciting eight-race programme is scheduled for Kenilworth this afternoon.

There are two feature races – the Gr2 Concorde Cup and the Gr2 Cape Merchants.

The first is due off at 13h15.

Jimmy The Rich writes that What A Cherry from the Adam Marcus stable takes her place in Race 3 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She produced a promising debut effort over this course and distance.

She understandably raced green, but the manner in which she finished off her race that day catches the eye. She found betting support which suggests that she was showing good work back at home.

The daughter of What A Winter would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat.

After saddling a winner on Tuesday, Dean Kannemeyer saddles Legitimate in Race 5.

He should have finished closer in the Listed Woolavington Stakes last time as he hung in the straight.

He has won once, finished second three times and third once from eight starts on this course.

The son of Dynasty is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He takes a drop back in class and can return to winning ways.

Joshwin Solomons and Richard Fourie will not be riding today as they are both medically indisposed.
