In 2015, the NHA announced the appointment of Ryan Hutcheson as a Stipendiary Steward for the Central Provinces, following his impressive career as a trainer.

Having shown exceptional leadership in the role, he was welcomed as Deputy Chief Stipendiary Steward for the Central Provinces on 1 October 2019.

The In The Box Seat team delve a little deeper into the governance of the horseracing world and Ryan shares his journey, from family influence to the pressures he faces as a stipe.

He gives detailed insights into his methodologies and how he handles the difficulties experienced on the racecourse.

Hutcheson also tells of his work with stipes in Hong Kong.
