Rulership Goes To A 112

The handicappers have their say

Rulership has had his merit rating raised from 107 to 112 after winning the Gr3 Betway Lebelo Sprint (handicap) over 1000m at Turffontein on Saturday, 23 December 2023.

The Handicappers were of the opinion that 3rd placed ALULA’S STAR made for the most suitable line horse, leaving her unchanged on a mark of 108.

The runner-up, MAGIC TATTOO, received a rating’s increase of 3 pounds, from 100 to 103. No other horses were given an increase in ratings in this event.

The following horses were dropped in the ratings, MOVER AND SHAKER was dropped to 112 from 113, KARANGETANG was dropped from 105 to 100, DANILO DANILOVITCH was dropped from 107 to 105, FLOWERBOMB was dropped to 103 from 104 and FULL VELOCITY was given a 3 pounds drop from 97 to 94.
