Rosh Kedesh Looks A Banker

First race off @ 12h15

Racing takes place on the Polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h15.

Please note that jockeys K Matsunyane and C Habib are not riding this afternoon.

Trainer Dean Kannemeyer saddles Rosh Kedesh in Race 7.

He ran a good race when third over this distance on the turf last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging and it must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The son of Vercingetorix has the ability and if suited to this surface, he should take a power of beating from pole position.

Conchita from the Nathan Kotzen stable may be the horse to close off the meeting.

She has been taking on stronger company in recent outings on the turf. The manner in which she finished off her penultimate run over 1200m caught the eye.

The 5yo mare takes a drop-in class and with Muzi Yeni back in the saddle, she may be the one to cause the upset.
