He took on a competitive field in the Gr1 Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas last time, but won a good race in the Grade 3 Allied Steelrode Graham Beck Stakes in his penultimate run.

The son of Coup De Grace has won twice and finished third once from as many starts over this distance.

He has ability and can notch up his fifth career victory.

Duke Of Rain from the Lucky Houdalakis yard takes his place in the lucky last and may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He has finished fourth in his last three starts on the Vaal Classic course.

He stayed on at the finish over 1500m last time.

The son of Duke Of Marmalade takes a slight drop in class and if suited to this course, he is capable of returning to winning ways.
