A superb Highlands-bred Dynasty double ridden by Ridgemont sponsored rider Greg Cheyne at Durbanville on Saturday boosted Wayne Kieswetter’s Ridgemont to the top of the owner’s log in the Western Cape.
The 3yo Kelpie, who is out of the five-time winning Al Mufti mare Divine Nymph, dam of a host of good winners, scored her second victory in five starts with an excellent post-maiden effort in the fourth, an MR 78 Handicap over a mile.

Front And Centre, another Highlands-bred Dynasty filly and 2018 Gr1 Cape Fillies Guineas winner, followed up in the Gr3 Diana Stakes an hour later.
The Kieswetters of Ridgemont Stud purchased Highlands Stud in January 2017 from the Beck family.
While it is early days yet, the good form early in the Cape Summer must give the Brett Crawford Racing Team and their staunch patrons plenty of hope for a big season.
