Rain Likely – But Cape Eagle Should Fly High

Note revised off time of race 2 - 13h04

While Mother Nature could have a say with over 155mm of rain having fallen in October and 87mm plus so far in November, racing takes place on the turf track at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h25.

Cape Eagle from the Andre Nel stable takes his place in Race 6.

He was unlucky not to have won the Non-Black Type PinkDrive Michaelmas Handicap last time.

He finished third before getting promoted to second. The 7yo gelding won his only attempt over this course and distance.

He is the class horse in the race and should return to winning ways.

Immah from the Paul Lafferty stable may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He was his own worst enemy leaving the start last time as he lost two lengths. The way he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

The son of What A Winter takes a drop in class and jumps from pole position.

If jumping on terms with Rachel Venniker aboard, he should be the one to beat.

Please note that the second race is off at 13h04.
