Gold Circle Publishing’s Devonne Govender, something of a KZN specialist, came from off the pace to pip Rouvaun Smit and bank the R500 daily cash prize in the Day 22 action of the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge Racing Stars at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday.
Earlier this month Devonne won Day 9 and the Week 1 prize of the competition, but will need a big performance at what is sure to be a wet Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday to peg back current Week 3 log-leaders Clyde Basel, Rouvaun Smit and Paul Lafferty.
The new fun competition hosted within the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge platform for South Africa’s racing presenters, personalities, commentators and journalists pits the faces and voices of racing against each other, competing on every South African race meeting, covering KZN, Western Cape, Gauteng, and Eastern Cape.
