R6 Million Pick For Hollywoodbets Kenilworth On Saturday

Note revised race times

A projected R6 million Pick 6 pool and revised race-times are important housekeeping news for Saturday’s Hollywoodbets Kenilworth racemeeting, which hosts the first Gr1 classic of the new term.

A R1 million carryover will be welcomed by Pick 6 players on a high-class competitive ten-race card, with the popular exotic starting in the fourth at 13h50.

There are four features carded, including the World Sports Betting Gr1 Cape Fillies Guineas, wsb.co.za Gr2 Southern Cross Stakes, World Sports Betting Gr2 Green Point Stakes and the SpinaWina Slots Listed Cape Summer Stayers Handicap.

The first is due off at 12h05.

Charles Dickens from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable takes his place in the Grade 2 World Sports Betting Green Point Stakes.

He won a game race in the Grade 3 Hollywoodbets Matchem Stakes last time which was his seasonal debut.

The son of Trippi would have come on from the run, will love the return to Hollywoodbets Kenilworth and the step up to the mile.

He does meet a competitive line-up but should notch up his tenth-career victory.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out Mrs Geriatrix in the Grade 1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas.

She is much better than her last start in the Grade 2 Western Cape Fillies Championship.

She had no luck in running that day as she raced wide around the turn and had to be cramped for galloping room at the 250m mark.

She is drawn wide once again but will enjoy racing on the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth summer course.

Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie, who rode five winners at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday, will have a plan in mind, and she can return to best form.
