R6 Million Projected Pick 6 Pool To Aim At Today!

First is due off @ 12h00

An exciting nine-race programme is set for the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon.

There are four feature races including the Gr2 Betway Joburg Spring Challenge, Gr2 Betway Joburg Spring F&M Challenge, Non-Black Type Bloodstock SA Sales Cup (C&G) and the Non-Black Type Bloodstock SA Sales Cup (Fillies).

The first is due off at 12h00.

We see the return of Mrs Geriatrix in the Non-Black Type Bloodstock SA Sales Cup (Fillies). The Sean Tarry trained filly is unbeaten from five starts, the latest of which was over 1400m in the Grade 2 Zulu Kingdom Explorer Golden Slipper.

The Equus Champion Two-Year-Old filly returns from a well-deserved 14-week break. She is a class above the rest of this field and should keep her unbeaten record intact.

Mondial from the Mike and Adam Azzie stable may be the horse to close off the meeting. He won a game race when shedding his maiden tag over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course. He was slow into stride but ran on strongly and got the better of House Of Romanov.

The son of Flower Alley does take on stronger, but he is progressive and has plenty of scope. He will be at home over the 1800m and can follow up.
