Qhawe Lami Could Be The Hero Today

Bipot starts in the first race @ 12h40

Racing takes place on Hollywoodbets Greyville turf track this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h40.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Clinton Binda sends out Qhawe Lami in Race 5. He stayed on when fifth over this course and distance last time.

He has won twice, finished second once and third twice from six starts over this distance.

He does take a drop-in class and he gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Trent Mayhew which will assist his cause. From pole position, he may be the one to beat.

Arverni Princess from the Louis Goosen stable takes her place in Race 4. She followed up her maiden victory with a good fourth-place finish over this course and distance.

The way she finished off her race that day was encouraging. She is in a good space and may be hard to peg back.

Jockeys Gavin Lerena and Robert Khathi will not be riding today.
