The first is off at 11h40

Amanatto from the Sean Tarry stable should give punters a good start to the day. She produced a promising debut effort over this distance at the Vaal.

She understandably raced green but the way she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating in this field.

Trainer Mark Dixon sends out Escapologist in Race 6 and she represents decent each way value. She was not disgraced when fifth against stronger company in her last start over 1750m on this course.

The daughter of Linngari finished second in her only attempt over this course and distance. She takes a drop in class and from pole position, she can notch up her fifth-career victory.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h15
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 12h50
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h25
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h00
  • The second Jackpot starts in the sixth race at 14h35
