Plenty Of Jockey Changes But Turffontein Goes Ahead

First due off @ 12h10

Racing on the Turffontein Inside course was postponed from Thursday to this afternoon.

There are a lot of jockey changes which need to be noted. Nine races are carded with the first due off at 12h10.

Matcha Mint from the Paul Matchett stable should give punters a good start to the day. She produced a promising debut effort over 1160m on the Standside course.

She lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green but the way she stayed on was encouraging.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat.

Trainer Weichong Marwing sends out Vitellius in Race 9.

He needed his comeback run over this course and distance, against stronger company.

He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. The son of Pomodoro takes a drop in class and he may be the one to side with.

The following jockeys are riding in KZN today: Kabelo Matsunyane,Craig  Zackey,Muzi Yeni, Calvin Habib, Gavin Lerena, Raymond Danielson, Denis Schwarz & Smanga Khumalo.

Piere Strydom has been stood down for family responsibility reasons.

Race: 8 No: 2 PENNSYLVANIA had a 145-day break due to being gelded.
