Please Be Patient – The New Normal?

A painful l transition continues

In shades of the SABC baby days of 1975, it’s been a dark December for 4Racing,  and technical issues – or the ghost of Phumelela –  continue to spoil the day to day punting experience for TAB and Tellytrack live streaming customers.

The Sporting Post has fielded numerous daily gripes and has again asked the powers-that-be to either sort the issues out or speak to the public and their customers – or shut the service down.

Today the sound from Kenilworth on the Tellytrack.com live stream was inaudible – it’s the old story.

Acting Executive : Phumelela International Operations & Tellytrack, Lance Smith recently conceded that they themselves are tired of the constant system problems on Tellytrack.com’s streaming service that have affected their customers.

We learn that they have apparently given notice to their current supplier and have undertaken that during the notice period to continue to monitor the system.

“Early in the new year you will be introduced to the new services from 4Racing and Gold Circle,” he concluded.

In the meantime, tote turnovers look bleak and the game pedals backwards.

The TAB website was slow on Wednesday afternoon and going up and down like a mediocre maiden in a Gr1 race.

We have just been informed via email that they are aware and working on the error – ‘trust it will be restored shortly’.

To all our readers – we cannot respond to each query but have asked those in charge to do something.

We have invited 4Racing CEO Fundi Sithebe to talk to us.
