Phumelela – Highveld Racing Goes Ahead

Additional security measures have been put in place

Phumelela have confirmed in a press released issued on Wednesday 14 July 2021 that, as things stand, the Highveld horseracing programme will go ahead as scheduled.

Additional security measures have been put in place commensurate with the continuing unrest, and the situation is being constantly monitored with a view to ensuring the safety of all equine and human participants at all times.

The next scheduled racemeeting is at Vaal on Thursday 15 July.

The first race is carded for 12h55.
