Further to the announcement released on 26 February 2020 advising shareholders of the resignation of the Chief Operating and Finance Director Andreas Heide, the Phumelela Gaming & Leisure Ltd Board has announced that Mr Andrew Ralph Langham has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 April 2020 to 31 December 2020.
Mr Langham is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years of experience in finance and tax, and financial and operational leadership within listed industrial companies, of which over 15 years has been with major South African construction companies.
His experience includes financial management, governance and reporting, capital raising, acquisitions, commercial negotiations and operational responsibility for a portfolio of businesses.
He has extensive experience across Southern Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Australasia.
The Board welcomed Andrew into his role and look forward to his contribution.
The Board is mindful of its commitment to advance transformation in the organisation and would announce a suitable candidate to the role of permanent Chief Financial Officer as soon as its finalised.
