Peter’s Silent War To Explode Today

First due off @ 12h05

Turffontein Racecourse plays host to a nine-race programme this afternoon.

There are three feature races on the card, including the Ormond Ferraris Listed Oaks Trial, TAB Listed  Hawwaam Stakes and the TAB Listed  Aquanaut Handicap.

The first race is due off at 12h05.

Silent War from the Tony Peter stable takes his place in Race 8 and he is the best bet on the card.

He raced from a handy position in the Betway Listed Wolf Power 1600 last time and tried hard all the way to the line.

It must be noted that Silver Hills has come out and won again since. He takes on weaker opposition this afternoon and can return to winning ways.

Trainer St John Gray sends out Eiffel Tower in the Listed TAB Hawwaam Stakes.

He is better than his last start as he raced wide around the turn and understandably lacked a finish in the straight.

The son of Potala Palace is a small horse who has a big heart. He should love the rise to 2000m and from his good draw of two, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.
