In an open letter, owner Joao Da Mata pens a public plea.
He writes in the Sporting Post Mailbag that he is penning this note publicly as he literally has no way of planning his day any longer.
Frankly and openly speaking, I don’t care about:
- Tony Peter
- Phenisile Mongqawa
- The Punter
- The Stud Book
- Klawervlei Stud
- The Image of Racing
- Loss of Turnover
- Bob being prepared to race and now waiting weeks for him to race again
BUT what is really important to me is planning my day, you see I keep a diary. I have to because I am busy.
I am busy because I chose to be and to then with some of the spare cash I have to fund horseracing. But I digress, whew I nearly got on my self pity soap box,I apologise.
If it’s not too much to ask, can someone please inform me if Bob will be running today, so that I can allocate some of my precious time in my diary to stop my day and watch.
Someone , anyone. Mr Hyde, Moodley, anyone.
Just assist me in planning my day. I know you are busy too and I know that integrity and respect are keywords in your vocabulary. I know that because I can see your professionalism at work on a daily basis.
So show me some professionalism and let me know if I can set some time aside or should I book another zoom meeting for 10am (UK time).
Ed – this letter makes reference to Bob carded to run in the first at the Vaal today. The race is off at 12h10.
