Avontuur-bred star heads overseas

Owner Mario Ferreira has sold his KZN Champion 2yo male of last season Cue The Music for an undisclosed sum.

He is set to race in Hong Kong and the 3yo will not run in South Africa again.

Cue The Music – won’t race here again

The Avontuur -bred Oratorio gelding won his first three start, including the Gr3 Godolphin Barb Stakes over 1100m at Scottsville and then only just failed to hold on when runner up to fellow Oratorio son Van Halen in the Gr1 Tsogo Sun Gold Medallion over 1200m at Scottsville.

He then disappointed over further when fifth in the Gr2 Golden Horseshoe over 1400m.

He is a half-brother to the Champion Sprinter Val De Ra.
