Official Betting by KZN Bookmakers Society

I write with deep concern & utter disgust at the actions on the part of bookmakers, to pull the plug on the official horse racing betting relayed on their website www.bookies.co.za, along with other sports codes betting , as determined by themselves.

It is sad to note that it is retrogressive to the sport & comes at a time when the sport of kings is battling to survive in the Gambling Industry. In this day & age where everyone is looking to transparency in all facets of life, Bookmakers choose to go undercover. The big question then is why?

Thousands of punters have been relying on this website for accurate betting together with betting moves on a daily basis, as disseminated by the official Bookmakers Society. Now, where or how does one obtain the fixed prices as determined by the society? How is  Tellytrack only privy to this information? Are punters expected to rely on prices from Independent Operators like Betting World or Hollywood or should punters then only bet would operators like this an boycott betting with any Bookmaker that belongs to the Society.

If Bookmakers that belong to this Society choose  not to be transparent, for whatever reasons, like hiding claims etc. in this day & age, then I believe it is time that punters should show their strength & solidarity by giving them the boot & bet with other operators whom do not form a part of the society.Bookmakers have long been “riding the wave of success” at the expense of most punters, yet in turn have done nothing for the ordinary punter.

When our “honourable politicians” are involved in corrupt activities, it is these very same hypocrits that are quick to condemn the politicians. Rather shameful. It is high time that rogue elements in the Bookmaking Industry also be exposed & are named & shamed publicly, as well.

I have read with interest on the website www.africanbettingclan.com ,  a call for a punters association.I strongly believe the time is ripe. After all it is punters money that drives the industry, yet the fate of the sport is in the hands of clowns that are rejects from the circus, due to poor performance.

“Down with bookmakers that belong to the Bookmakers Society – Boycott them.No transparency, no betting with bookmakers that belong to the Society”
