No Boloney – Go With Molony

First due off @ 12h30

We head over to Hollywoodbets Greyville for today’s racemeeting with an eight-race programme carded for this afternoon.

A reminder to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h30.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Alyson Wright saddles Sweet Julia in Race 3.

She challenged strongly in her comeback run over 1000m on this course but found one too good in the form of Belle Fontaine.

The daughter of What A Winter would have come on from the run, will strip much fitter and she should love the rise to 1400m.

From her good draw of three, she is the horse to beat.

Gareth van Zyl will send out Mr Molony in Race 5 today (Pic – Chase Liebenberg)

Mr Molony from the Gareth van Zyl stable takes his place in Race 5.

He stayed on when 2.85 lengths behind the winner over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time.

He won his only attempt over this course and distance.

The 5yo gelding has cracked a good draw of four and he meets weaker opposition. Sean Veale may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
