NHA: Webber Fined

Mr Webber has the right of appeal against the penalty imposed

National Horseracing AuthorityThe National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an inquiry which was held in Johannesburg on 2 March 2016, Trainer Brett Webber was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.1 in that he failed to provide a reasonable level of care to the horses under his control, by not providing them with sufficient bedding between 5 and 8 February 2016 when his stables were inspected.

Trainer Webber pleaded guilty to the charge.
