Stuart Randolph – suspended

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in Durban on 11 August 2016, Jockey Stuart Randolph was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of FINAL JUDGEMENT, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horse VISUALITY (P Strydom) when shifting in at approximately the 1100m mark in Race 5 at Greyville Racecourse on the 31 July 2016.

Jockey S Randolph pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of the charge.

The Board having considered all the evidence, suspended Jockey Randolph from riding in races for a period of ten days.

Jockey Randolph has the right of appeal against the finding and the severity of the penalty imposed.
