NHA Refutes Legitimacy Claims

Seriousness of allegations warranted quick response

At the 138th Annual General Meeting of The National Horseracing Authority that took place on Wednesday 15 January, a Member raised the allegations in a letter published on the Sporting Post website.

National Horseracing AuthorityThe allegations concerned the legitimacy of some Members of the Nominations Committee as well as some of the National Board Directors.

All the allegations were refuted by the National Board and the Management of the NHA who produced supporting documents to the satisfaction of the Members present at the Annual General Meeting.

The question and answer thereto will be recorded in the Minutes of the 138th Annual General Meeting in due course.

The Members present, whilst in agreement with the general policy of not commenting on social media posts, felt that in this instance the seriousness of the allegations warranted an immediate statement.
