NHA: Jevu Guilty

Jevu pleaded guilty to the charge.

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that an inquiry was held at its offices at Turffontein Racecourse on Friday 18 December 2015.

Mr Paulos Jevu was charged with a contravention of Rule 72.1.25 in that he conducted himself in an improper manner by using foul language during a post-race interview on Tellytrack after having participated in Race 6 at the Vaal Racecourse on 22 October 2015.

 Jevu pleaded guilty to the charge.

 The Inquiry Board found Mr Jevu guilty of the charge and imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in two Workrider races.

 Mr Jevu has the right of appeal against the penalty imposed.
