The National Horseracing Authority has confirmed that in terms of, inter alia, Rule 91.2, it has imposed an Interim suspension on Trainer Tony Peter effective from Saturday 25 November 2023, at 12h21.
Consequently, all horses under the care of Trainer Peter will not be eligible to participate in races pending the conclusion of the investigation.

This investigation has emanated from a stable visit by NHA Officials earlier today, which raised certain serious concerns.
Rule 91.2 states that pending the determination of any inquiry or of any appeal arising from any inquiry in terms of the rules, the National Board may impose such interim suspension or suspensions on any person or in respect of any horse as they in their sole discretion deem fit.
Trainer Peter will be allowed access to his stable to ensure that the welfare of his horses is maintained.
