NHA: Domeyer Suspended

Pleaded not guilty to the charge

National Horseracing AuthorityThe National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in Cape Town on 7 July 2016, Jockey Aldo Domeyer was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of FELICITY FLYER, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to NOT ON MY WATCH at approximately the 200m mark when he switched in during the running of Race 4, at Kenilworth Racecourse on 25 June 2016.

Jockey Domeyer pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Inquiry Board found Jockey Domeyer guilty of the charge and suspended him from riding in races for a period of 7 days.

Jockey Domeyer has the Right of Appeal against both the finding and the penalty imposed.
