The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in Cape Town on 11 October 2016, Jockey Aldo Domeyer was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.3, in that as the rider of UNDER MILKWOOD, he failed to ride his mount out to the end of Race 8 at Durbanville Racecourse on 28 September 2016.
Jockey Domeyer pleaded guilty to the charge.
The Inquiry Board, after considering the evidence, accepted his plea and found Jockey Domeyer guilty and imposed a fine of R2,500.00.
Jockey Domeyer has the Right of Appeal against the penalty imposed.
