Newsflash: Watch Muzi Grab Goodbye Gold At Kranji!

Vigorous but brilliant ride!

Muzi Yeni followed in the bootprints of Jason Gates in Mauritius earlier in the day when the SA national log-leader rode a cracker to win the final running of the Gr1 Grand Singapore Gold Cup on longshot Smart Star at Kranji on Saturday.

Sacrificing opportunities with the Gr2 feature double-header at Turffontein on Saturday, Yeni was granted a one-day visiting jockey’s licence and travelled to Singapore for the emotional final racemeeting.

He rode a cracker on the any price David Kok-trained Smart Star who flew up late under a vigorous ride.
