Please note important venue change

Turffontein

Turffontein – waterlogged

The race meeting scheduled for Turffontein on Saturday 13 December has been moved to the Vaal following a track inspection on Friday morning.

Phumelela horseracing executive Patrick Davis said: “Turffontein is waterlogged after heavy rain and more rain is forecast so we are switching the meeting to the Vaal turf. Rain is forecast for the Vaal as well, but not as much as for Turffontein.”

Please note that Race 6 over 2450m will now be run over 2400m as a result of the change in venue and the 1160m races carded now become 1200m events.

The 1600m races carded will be run down the straight.
