Just hours after riding her first winner on WSB Cape Town Met day at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth, South Africa’s only female jockey Rachel Venniker made her first visit to Ngong Racecourse a winning one when scoring a double, including victory on Sheriff John Stone in the Kenya Guineas.

Making history as the first fairer sex import to ride at the scenic track, the Jonsson Workwear-sponsored Rachel scored on two SA breds on Sunday as Sheriff John Stone won the Kenya Guineas, and Player X won the Chilli Cup.
