Newsflash: Kenilworth Racemeeting Scheduled

Entries are required by Monday 5 July

A race meeting has been added to the programme at Kenilworth on Saturday 10 July to replace last Wednesday and Sunday’s Cape fixtures that had to be abandoned because of rain.

A total of 235mm of rain has been recorded at Kenilworth in the last seven days.

The additional meeting will slot in alongside an existing Turffontein fixture and comprise eight races, which, where possible, replace events at the two abandoned fixtures and fit into the flow of the overall race programme.

The programme is headed by a 1200m Pinnacle Stakes with four Merit-Rated Handicaps, two Maidens and a Maiden Juvenile Plate.

Horses must be entered on Monday 5 July with final declarations on Tuesday.
