Cape Town is overcast with more rain forecast but racing will go ahead for now.

An updated report from Kenilworth this morning indicates that 23mm of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours, with 50mm in last 7 days.

The going has been posted as soft with the pen reading at 28 down the straight and 27 on turn.

The false rail has been set at 2m on the Winter Course.

The first race is off at 12h45 with the Listed Final Fling Stakes heading the nine race programme.
