Newsflash: Hollywoodbets Greyville Abandoned

Unfortunate end to night racemeeting

Candiese Lenferna took this shot of Hollywoodbets Greyville after the lights went out

A municipal power fault after the running of the Hollywoodbets Greyville sixth race on Friday evening left the course in darkness, with the result that races 7 and 8 were abandoned at 21h30. Logistics related to the transport of personnel and horses had to be taken cognisance of.

The Pick 6, Jackpot and Place Accumulator will pay dividends as a minimum of two legs were run in each.

The next KZN racemeeting will be held at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday 2 February.
