Newsbreak: Champion Changes Stables

websize-futura2In breaking news, the Sporting Post has just learnt that J&B Met winner Futura is transferring stables from Brett Crawford to current SA champion trainer, Justin Snaith.

The treble Gr1 winning outstanding son of Dynasty is the top horse in the country and the loss will be a massive blow to the KZN Champions Season aspirations of the high-riding Brett Crawford yard.

We believe that a press release will follow from Snaith Racing and that a failure to reach consensus over a substantial overseas offer is at the route of the move.

The horse recently won the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate and J&B Met in the power partnership of Jack Mitchell, Ian Longmore and leading stallion manager John Freeman.

Further news follows.
