New Turf Carriers are very sad to report that earlier this morning one of their trucks had a tragic accident outside of Laingsburg on the way to Cape Town.
Sadly one of their grooms died and three horses were euthanased.
The surviving horses and staff are on the way back to Cape Town.
New Turf Carriers have sent their deepest condolences to Snaith Racing and their patrons and their heartfelt thanks for their understanding during this hard time.
The Shams said that they also wished to send their strength to their sons Michael, Matthew and Marcus who work so hard 24/7 to provide the best service they can.
