The first is due off at 12h35.

Trainer Andre Nel saddles Saartjie in Race 6 and she is the best bet on the programme. She will be ridden by Keagan de Melo.

Kegan de Melo – should enjoy another good day (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

She followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1600m on this course. She stayed on at the finish but found one too good in the form of Lady Silvano.

The daughter of Dynasty will love the rise to 1800m and she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Veronique from the Greg Ennion yard may be the horse to close off the meeting. She has good consistent form lines to her credit. She stayed on at the finish over this course and distance last time but found one too good in the form of Green Chilli.

The daughter of Pathfork meets a similar line-up this afternoon and she can go one better.
