Muzi Magic Could Do The Trick Today

First race at Turffontein is off at 12h00

Racing is on the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon and nine races are carded.

After riding a double at the Vaal on Thursday, jockey Muzi Yeni has seven rides booked with a couple of decent winning chances.

The first is due off at 12h00.

MK’s Dreams from the Robbie Sage stable should give punters a good start to the day.

He was an easy winner of his last start over 1160m on the Standside course.

Despite receiving a bump when leaving the start, he showed a good turn of foot and drew off in the latter stages.

The son of Erupt should have no issues with the step up to the mile. He is a progressive type and can follow up.

Mike and Adam Azzie saddle Breeze Over in Race 8.

He finished 0.9 lengths behind Mambo Come Tesio last time.

He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Twice Over tries the 3000m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance, he may be the one to beat.
