Dapper from the Paul Lafferty stable takes his place in Race 2. He set the pace over 1600m on this course last time and stayed on to finish second.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Lancaster Bomber should have no issues with the rise to 1750m.

Muzi Yeni is likely to use his early gate speed to overcome his wide draw of ten and he may be hard to peg back.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Peter Muscutt sends out Down By The River in Race 8. He may not have seen out the 1750m last time.

His effort when winning over 1600m on this course, three runs ago was eye-catching.

He carries a handy galloping of 55.5kgs and if putting his best foot forward, he can notch up his third-career victory.
