Muis The Ace Today

First off at 12h20

The new week starts off with an eight-race programme on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack.

It could be your chance today to follow in the footsteps of Sunday’s Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge winner Isaiah Samuels. The regular player won R720 000 on the Turffontein meeting!

Read his story here!

The first is due off at 12h20 today.

Michael Roberts – could have a good day at the races (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Trainer Michael Roberts saddles La Prestissimo in Race 2.

She should have finished closer to the winner in her last start as she hung and shifted away from the crop in the closing stages.

The daughter of Capetown Noir will love the step up to 1400m and if keeping on a straight line, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Imbewu, also from the Michael Roberts stable, takes her place in Race 3. She finished 1.5 lengths behind Palm Breeze last time.

She is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is having her second run after a rest and will strip much fitter. From her good draw of three, she may be the one to side with.

Please note that Smanga Khumalo is not riding today.
