More Black Type for Alado

MORE BLACK TYPE FOR ALADO

and a good win in France for his latest half brother

Nice to have a direct son of Danzig standing in the Western Cape and doing really well from a small crop.  Nicer still when he’s out of a World Champion racemare from a great family.

After the winning 2yo Half Moon Hotel (Alado out of a Cadeaux Genereux mare) achieved a Listed 2nd in his second run, Northern Conquest (Alado out of a Caesour mare) ran 3rd in the Independent on Saturday Byerley Turk (Gr.3 at Scottsville in what was very much a come-back run after a planned break of a couple of months).

Half Moon Hotel will aim for more Graded Stakes racing in June, but four times winner Northern Conquest all going well will be out sooner in the KZN Guineas Gr.2.

At the weekend, ALADO’s half brother by WITH APPROVAL named ALBION won a nice conditions race in France at 3, trained by Andre Fabre for the owner/breeder of both brothers, Lanwades Stud, home of SELKIRK, ARCHIPENKO and AUSSIE RULES.

Alado stands at Arc En Ciel
