Demo Information
Monty’s demos are largely dependent on the horses he receives to work with, but usually comprise 3 main parts. Monty will work with a young, unbacked horse demonstrating Join-Up, Follow-Up and introduce the horse to its first saddle, bridle and rider.
The second part of the demo is set aside to work with a horse with problems and this could be any problem from ground manners to catching, to picking up feet, rearing, bucking, etc (the scope of the work is largely dependent on the horses that are volunteered).
The last part of the demonstration is reserved for problem loaders – something we’ve all experienced at least once in our lives!
Show Information
VIP ticket holders will be entitled to the VIP seating around the round pen, allowing for a bird’s eye view of Monty and his methods. VIP ticket holders will also have an additional pre-show private audience with Monty in which he will work with a problem horse.
Shows (from the general admission start time) are approximately 3 to 3.5 hours in duration. There will be intervals during which Monty will be available for book signings and photographs.
Tickets are available through Computicket, but don’t leave it too late – we’re told most of the VIP tickets have already been snapped up and the rest are going fast.
