Brett Crawford saddles Universe Boss in Race 4. He has shown improvement in his last two starts.

He was running on strongly over 2000m last time, but it was a little too late.

The son of Duke Of Marmalade doesn’t meet the strongest field today and from his good draw of four, may be the one to side with.

Star Of The South takes his place in Race 6 and he is currently trading at 14/1. His last start can be ignored as he was reported to be lame on his left hind.

He returns from a 13-week break, which would have done him the world of good.

He had excuses in his two prior starts on this course. The son of Dynasty does have ability and with a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to cause the upset.

The summer course false rail is in it’s original position from the 1800m mark with a 2m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h45
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h20
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h55
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h30
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h05

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
