Jimmy The Rich writes that Bye Bye Bombshell from the Justin Snaith stable takes her place in Race 2. She was ridden to perfection when winning on debut over this course and distance.

She was slow into stride, but got up where it matters most.

The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade would have come on from the run and could be anything. She has a very good chance of remaining unbeaten.

Brett Crawford sends out Halloween in Race 6. She finished 1.3 lengths behind Helen’s Blush last time.

She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

She tries the ten furlongs for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Halloween will race with a tongue tie on today.

Craig Zackey will not be riding in Race 4 only due to flight complications.

The summer course false rail is 4m out from the 1800m mark with a 6m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h05
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h40
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h15

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
