Jimmy The Rich writes that Cashew from the in-form Wayne Badenhorst and Barbara Kennedy stable takes her place in Race 2.

She set the pace in her last start over 1600m on this course, but was caught in the shadow of the post.

The daughter of Jay Peg will enjoy the drop back to 1400m and in this type of field, she should take a power of beating.

Garth Puller saddles Magari in Race 5 today (Pic- Candiese Lenferna)

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Garth Puller saddles Magari in Race 5. He has shown good signs of a form return in his last two starts.

He finished 1.5 lengths behind Living Waters in his last outing. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

If not too far out of his ground turning for home, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.
