Pussycat To Purr In The Last

The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h30

Racing is on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and nine races are carded.

Don’t forget about the Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and if you tip all nine winners on the card, you can win over R1 million.

The first race is due off at 12h00.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Hollywoodbets-sponsored Duncan Howells saddles Poppy Of Bayeux in Race 2. She has finished third in all four of her outings to date.

She showed good speed in her comeback run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville, but was outrun in the latter stages. The daughter of William Longsword gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time which may do the trick.

She is having her first run on the polytrack and if suited to the surface, she may be the one to beat.

Not Now Pussycat from the Gary Rich stable could be the one to close off the meeting.

She won a very good race in her last start over this course and distance. She was reported to be cut into that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging.

Apprentice Thabiso Gumede retains the ride and with a bit of luck from her wide draw, she can follow up.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h40
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h15
  • The second Jackpot starts in the sixth race at 14h50
